Many managers like to sigh, “Don’t care too much about salary, take more responsibility, to get things done.”
“Work like a boss. You’re working for yourself.”
“Nowadays, young people are generally hard – working and leave their jobs at every turn.”
“996 is good for you. It’s important to grow.”
All I can say about these bosses and managers is that you should never expect your employees to “work like bosses” unless you actually make them one of them.
Employees with this mindset can’t be “the boss” in your place, but will be “the boss” somewhere else after their training.
The world is fair, only let employees take more responsibilities, not corresponding more benefits, “let employees do work with the mentality of the boss”, is the manager’s self-anesthetic.

If you care about what people think of you and what they like to hear about you, they can use that to influence you and even control you.
