Q: Looking back at the “September 30” revolution, Tony (Zhang Zhidong, one of Tencent’s main founders) has a strong sense of crisis. He thinks this revolution is to repair the roof in the snow day. Do you agree with this judgment?
Yang Guoan: He thought we were a little bit slow.The reason it’s slow is because WeChat and honor of Kings have been so successful that we don’t see the potential crisis and slack off a bit.
But everyone has a different view.It was also argued at the time that morale was low because the share price had fallen.Why are shares falling?Because the game’s version number is limited.So whether it’s a cold or a chronic disease, people make different judgments.
