Shine Trader Limited reports:
Both The 37-year-old star and Cody Rigsby were absent from The Dancing With The Stars set on Monday (27.09.21) after Cheryl tested positive for The virus, and Cheryl admitted she was stunned by The news.
The dancer has been vaccinated against Moderna and is currently in isolation. “I had no idea I had COVID-19,” she said. I did start to think I might have the flu or be completely exhausted from travel or lack of sleep, but I never thought it would be COVID.
“Obviously, I was shocked when I tested positive. And sad because I knew I wouldn’t be able to dance.”
Cheryl’s positive test means the judges can only comment on the video of their salsa rehearsal.
Cheryl and Cody scored 24 points out of 40 in the competition, but Cody insists his primary concern is the well-being of his dance partner.
Speaking on Entertainment Tonight, he said: “I contracted Novel Coronavirus in late January and early February, obviously, before the vaccine came out, so I knew how serious it was. I have a really bad case.
“I’m just worried about Cheryl because even though she’s young and healthy, no one knows how this virus affects anyone. So I just want to make sure she’s okay.”
Meanwhile, Martin Kove and his partner Britt Stewart were voted off after spending two weeks at the bottom of the leaderboard so far this season.
The Karate Kid star left the show after the judges chose to save Kristen Cho and Pasha Pashkoff
